About Clare

I’m Clare, a stylist and self-confessed finder, keeper and curator of beautiful objects, a farmer’s wife and a full time mum to two gorgeous, cheeky cherubs. Located near Mungindi, NSW on a livestock and cropping farm, I believe in celebrating everyday life, through beautiful bespoke interiors that are a reflection of you and your lifestyle.

It all started when I was a girl, watching my mother create a beautiful home. I would follow her to antique and op shops as she searched for that eclectic one of a kind piece to complete a room or fill a cute little nook in our house. I saw how our house transformed into a home filled with special pieces, that were also functional. I particularly loved how she would paint and change furniture to create something unique.

My love of beautiful things was cemented when, after building a career in marketing (and working for some big organisations like Tourism Qld, Bond University and University of Southern Qld) and decorating an apartment in Brisbane, I took a chance and applied to Nine Network’s ‘The Farmer Wants A Wife.’ The rest, as they say, is history! I met Farmer Scott, a handsome (if you don’t mind me saying so) sheep and cropping farmer from North West NSW, and moved to the farm in 2009.

Fast forward over 10 years and I have spent my years deep diving in the world of interior design with my recently sold "Luxe & Humble" where we sourced beautiful wares and loved creating bespoke custom upholstery for our clients.

Now, The Country Curated is an online space for me to be able to keep my toes dipped in the interior design world while also navigating the busy and sometimes hectic life of being a Country Mum to two very busy little people.
